Waiting Patiently

I just remembered we had a blog. Who knew. :) We are 13 days from our fourth child's due date. We are now in the waiting somewhat impatiently stage. Michelle is doing well but we are both ready for the arrival of the little guy. We have decided to name him Mat(t)hias Knight Freeman. The meaning of his name is as follows:

Matthias: Greek form of Matthew. The name of the 13^th apostle, described in Acts 1 as “with us from the beginning during all the time the Lord went in and out among us” and “a witness of his resurrection.” Furthermore, chosen in honor of our son’s uncle Matthew!

Knight: We couldn’t resist this modern “K” name that captures the faith, chivalry and courage that we pray will be embodied in the character of this child as he grows to become a young man and eventually, we pray, a strong leader for his God, his family and his community.
